You could catch a ball like no other dog! I don't know how many hours we bounced the ball and you would catch it on the first bounce. You loved your tennis balls, and you loved the neighbor's tomatoes that you thought were your balls. You'd come running home so excited because you had a ball, and we would have to run and throw it out before anyone knew what you were doing. I'm going to miss our morning and evening "talks." I'm going to miss you meeting me at the car every evening after work telling me you missed me, or that you were hungry. I'm going to miss you making sure the UPS man didn't rob us. I'm going to miss hearing you bark at anything or anybody that came near your yard. I'm going to miss your unconditional love. I'm even going to miss the way you would shed year round. You've been my best friend for almost 11 years. I don't know what I'm going to do without you. My heart is broken. I know someday we'll play ball again, and we'll have more summer nights sitting on the porch while I tell you all my secrets, and you get your belly rubbed. You were the best girl ever. I'm so glad God let us have you for awhile. I love you Sophie Ware. The Warehouse

Ugh . . . bees!
I hate bees. No ifs, ands, or buts. I hate them. I stepped on a yellowjacket hive when I was about 8 years old. The buzzing sound makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up. I don't know how I got up my nerve to get close enough to get this shot.

Spring . . . finally!
We had more beautiful weather this weekend. Loved getting to play outside with my camera. Jordan and I also squeezed in some golf. Can't wait for all of the trees to bloom. I'm definitely tired of the grays and browns of Kentucky winter. Bring on the green!

The Return
Well, it's certainly been awhile since I've been on here! We've had an early spring, and beautiful warm days this week! I went to Central Park to get pictures of some of the daffodils before they were all gone. These were all taken with my Lensbaby lens, which I love!!!

Indian Summer
Yesterday ended up being a Porsche Day because it was so beautiful out. We went to Jackson, Ohio and came back home through Portsmouth. Had a kind of cool/weird lunch outside in Portsmouth. Met a man whose son is a Green Technology major at Northern Michigan University. I forgot to tell him I work for a coal company.

Last First Friday
What an absolutely beautiful evening to have the last First Friday outside! It is such a great event for Ashland. The bowling shirts that Carrier wore were so rockin'!!! I'm sure that will be a first and a last.

Movie Day
Rosey and I went to see Legend of the Guardians today. We had a little bit of free time before the movie started and I said "why don't we go take some pictures of you." Much to my surprise, she said "OKAY!" We went to a local bank just because I liked the brick pillars, and then to the park. She was such a good sport.
